Sisterlocks™ Package

The package is 3 visits: a consultation, locking session and a follow-up visit within 3-4 weeks of the locking session.    You will receive a customer starter kit that includes washing bands, starter shampoo and a tip sheet.   After 4 weeks the session is considered "Retightening".  If you cause the follow-up session not to occur as scheduled a full retightening is necessary, add $75 to the price quoted.

Flat locs®

The typical head of flat locs® has between 100 and 200 locs.  These are made by a proprietary process using the flat loc tool.  They are similar, in size to micro locs, braidlocks, or small traditionals.

Consultations for Sisterlocks™ Package

Consultations are $25 and are done privately.  They may include a short video, review of my personal portfolio of clients as well as a Sisterlocks™ produced portfolio.  I will answer all of your questions and may put in some test locks.  If you schedule a locking date more than month away, I will schedule a time to put in test locks no more than one week prior to the actual locking session.

 

Consultations for Transfer Clients

Retightening or grooming transfer clients should have a consultation before scheduling a 1st time appointment.

 

Appointments

Appointments include locking sessions, follow-up, re-tightening and grooming.  Before your locking session:  Wash your hair and air dry.  Do not comb or manipulate the hair or add any product.  Time is valuable.  Please call if you are going to be late as your appointment may have to be rescheduled.   Your hair should been clean prior to any service. Do not add any products to your hair until after the service.  If I find that your hair is sticky or slippery feeling I may ask you to clean your hair before we begin.  24 hours notice is required for cancellations.  A fee of $30 will be assessed if I am not given 24 hours, except in emergency situations.

Payment

I will accept credit cards through Paypal.  There will be a 2.5% service fee added.  Cash, credit or check payment totaling at least a 1/4 of the Sisterlocks™ Package fee is due at time that the locking session is scheduled to hold appointment time and is not refundable.  Cash payment is due when services are started, not after.  Checks are accepted for deposits only & are never accepted accepted as final payment for locking sessions.  Returned check fee is $32.00.   Checks are not accepted for any retightening services, unless previous arrangements have been made.  Post dated checks will not be accepted.  Payment is due at the time service is rendered.

 

Payment Plan

Payment plans for locking sessions are as follows: 1/3 payment due at or after consultation, 1/3 the following month, 1/3 at the beginning of the locking session.

 

Travel Fees

I will travel to your location.  There will be a travel fee added to the cost of your service.  The fee is $.25/mile.  If I am servicing more than one client in your location I will split the travel fee among all clients.
